Terms of Service
These terms apply when you use PracticeCalculus, including the website, lessons, practice tools, reference pages and emails. By creating an account or using PracticeCalculus, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to use PracticeCalculus. If you are under the age required in your country to accept these terms yourself, a parent or guardian must accept them for you.
- Give accurate information and keep your password safe. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- You can delete your account at any time in Settings, Profile.
Free and Pro plans
- You can use PracticeCalculus for free, with the content and limits shown on the pricing page.
- Pro costs $9.99 a month or $59.99 a year. New subscribers get a 7-day free trial.
- Pro renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in Settings, Billing. After you cancel, you keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for, and your account then moves to the free plan. Your progress is kept.
- If a payment fails, we will try again and let you know. If it keeps failing, Pro may end.
- Payments are processed by our payment provider, Bachs. Prices are in US dollars and may include tax where required.
- Refunds: if you are charged and did not mean to be, or something went wrong, contact us at [email protected] within 14 days and we will make it right. Where your local consumer law gives you a right to withdraw or a refund, that right is not affected.
- We may change prices for future billing periods. We will tell you in advance, and you can cancel before the new price applies.
Using PracticeCalculus fairly
Please do not:
- Copy, scrape or resell our lessons, exercises or reference content, or use them to build a competing product.
- Try to break, overload or get around the security or limits of the service.
- Share your account with others or use automated tools to collect answers or XP.
- Use PracticeCalculus for anything illegal or harmful.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
Our content
All lessons, exercises, explanations, graphs and reference pages on PracticeCalculus are owned by PracticeCalculus or used with permission. You may use them for your own learning, and you may link to and quote short parts of public pages with a link back. Anything else needs our written permission.
University course guides are independent study guides. PracticeCalculus is not affiliated with or endorsed by those universities. Course details can change, so always check the official course page.
Learning, not guarantees
We work hard to make every lesson clear and correct, but mistakes can happen. PracticeCalculus is a learning tool. It does not guarantee any grade, exam result or admission. If you spot an error, please tell us at [email protected].
Availability and changes
We aim to keep PracticeCalculus available and improving, but we may change, add or remove features and content, and the service may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance. If we discontinue a paid feature, we will give a fair refund for any unused prepaid time.
Liability
PracticeCalculus is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
Ending these terms
You can stop using PracticeCalculus and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. Sections about our content and liability continue to apply after your account ends.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will show the new date below and, for significant changes, tell you by email or on the site before they take effect. If you keep using PracticeCalculus after that, the new terms apply.
