PracticeCalculus

PracticeCalculus is an online platform for learning calculus by solving problems. It teaches Calculus 1, 2 and 3 in short interactive lessons, and every answer gets immediate, specific feedback, hints and a step-by-step walkthrough.

It is built for high school and university students taking a first, second or third calculus course, and for anyone reviewing calculus on their own. The courses, reference pages and blog are available in English, Español, Português, Deutsch, Français.

PracticeCalculus is not a video course, a textbook or a homework answer generator. Students learn by doing: each lesson asks them to work through problems themselves, with new numbers on every attempt, while XP, daily streaks and review of past mistakes keep them practicing.

PracticeCalculus: What students can do

  • Work through short lessons that explain one idea and then ask them to solve problems with it.
  • Type answers as math, including expressions, limits and vectors, and get feedback that points at the specific mistake.
  • Open hints and a full step-by-step solution for every exercise.
  • Take unit quizzes, review past mistakes and sit timed practice exams.
  • Look up functions, rules and theorems in the reference library and on the formula sheet.
